Heavy rains in mangalore, but still severe water shortage !

The signs of ominous for Mangalore, even while many parts of the city are still under severe shortage of drinking water, city's civic leaders have made promises to the industrial sector to give water for their industrial purposes. The Mangalore City Corporation has also moved a resolution in its meeting held in August to this effect and it has promised water for the upcoming Nagarjuna Power Corporation (NPC) Limited, which means less and less water will be available for Mangalore's domestic needs.
